About The Mahotsava

Sri Raghavendra Saptaaha Mahotsava is celebrated in commemoration of the Vedanta Samrajya Pattaabhisheka and Janmadina of Shri Raghavendra Guru Sarvabhauma.

Every year since 1994, during the Phalguna Masa, the Samithi performs the week long Mahotsavam with religious gaiety and enthusiasm in different locations. The 19th year's Saptaha Mahotsavam is scheduled this year at Tiruvallur from 22-02-2012 to 29-02-2012.

During the Saptaha Mahotsavam special Poojas, Homas, Discourses, Religious Activities coupled with activities like, Quiz, Medical Check up Camps, etc. would be performed.

Every year, the Saptaha Mahotsavam is gaining huge popularity on account of the interesting activities which are performed.

The Samiti

Sri Raghavendra Saptaha Karyacharana Samiti, headed by Sri.Archak Parimalachar, Mantralayam, has been celebrating Sri Raghavendra Saptaha Mahotsavam since 1994, during the Phalguna Masa.
