Sri Raghavendra Swamiji’s incarnation in Kaliyuga can be considered a manifestation for the upliftment of the ‘Sajjanas’. Sri Rayaru’s Pontification Day to the Vedanta Saamraajya and his Birthday fall in the same week during the ‘Phalguna Maasa’. This is celebrated as the “Sri Raghavendra Saptaaha Mahotsavam”.
Starting from 1994, we have been celebrating Sri Raghavendra Saptaaha for the past 33 years at various places across the country. This time around, we are celebrating the 34th Sri Raghavendra Saptaaha in Siruguppa, Karnataka.
What Happens During the Saptaaha?
During this celebratory occasion, devotees come together to partake in a deeply spiritual environment featuring:
- Spiritual Discourses: Delivered by various Madhwa Peethadhipatis and scholars.
- Devotional & Cultural Programs: Devotees partake in bhajans, and artists perform cultural programs.
- Daily Rituals & Sevas: Rayara Abhisheka, Pushparchana, Pooja Kainkaryam, and Special Homas.
- Grand Highlights: The all-special Srinivasa Kalyanotsavam performed on the penultimate day, concluding with the magnificent Sahasra Kalasha Ksheerabhishekam on the final day of the Mahotsavam.
